Demuth Forestry Service is a forestry consulting company which services both private and crown lands in the municipalities of Haliburton, North Hastings, Kawartha Lakes, Muskoka and Peterborough.  We specialize in creating and approving Managed Forest Plans for the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program.

Since 1994 Ernie Demuth (owner and operator) has been committed to the protection and sustainable use of our most treasured and valuable resources, the forests and wetlands of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence forest region.  Although Ernie is settled in the Haliburton area, his work in forest resource management has been wide-ranging.  From searching for forest interior birds in the Carolinian forest of southern Ontario, to initiating inventory surveys in the Boreal of northern Ontario, his experience is diverse.
